Our History
I would like to introduce this fellowship history.
Our fellowship started In January 2020, several sisters in Christ returned to Australia from China, hoping to re-establish the adult and youth fellowship. The gathering had not yet started. The government closed the city due to the epidemic. The adult fellowship was established through Zoom, but the youth fellowship didn't started until early 2021. We had barbecues and games in the park to communicate with each other, and held them at the sisters' homes. However, the children were not very interested and unwilling to participate. After praying, we felt that we didn’t need too many details to attract the children to the gathering, but directly used God’s words to attract the children’s spirituality!
Saturday, 2021/04/10 was the first time we started using the alpha Course at my house.
Started at 09/04/2021 Friday, there were only six children who were recruited by their mother, but God’s time was so good. In the evening, I received a call from church sisters who had a twin just returned from China and asked to join this fellowship. This two little angels participated in it and kept sharing God’s faithfulness and his own testimony. It was so beautiful and witnessed God’s glory and grace! This beautiful beginning is a testimony of the Holy Spirit personally leading the hearts of children into our fellowship!
That time the city was closed due to the spread of the epidemic, but it could not seal the hearts of the children. We still had online Bible studies on the Gospel of Luke, so that the children could have a deeper understanding of God.
we held a youth camp on Philip Island. Holy Spirit has attracted a group of young people to participate and leaded by Brother Yang Qi. This young brother who loves the Lord is willing to stand up and serve Lord. We are so grateful!
After Easter camp this April, 6 friends were baptized .
In June same year, our youth fellowship went to skip Mount Buller. Everyone enjoyed the natural beauty created by God, which added another bond to our fellowship!
At the end of this month, our youth group will also go to Philip Island camp to fellowship with each other and build relationships with people and God through the school holidays.
We hope everyone will continue to pray for our fellowship and may the Holy Spirit lead more children to come to Him!
